A Call for the Ratification of ILO Convention 190

“Every human being is entitled to a world of work free from violence and harassment.”

On the occasion of the 115th International Women’s Day (March 8, 2026), the Cambodian Institute for Democracy (CID) joins over 40 trade unions, civil society organizations, and concerned citizens in a unified call to the Royal Government of Cambodia. We are collectively advocating for the formal ratification of ILO Convention 190 (C190)—the first international treaty to address violence and harassment in the world of work.
