CID’s President Joins ASEAN Civil Society Forum to Address Digital Ultranationalism and Cross-Border Peacebuilding in Southeast Asia
From October 13-16, 2025, our President Chanroeun Pa participated in the ASEAN Civil Society Conference/ASEAN People’s Forum (ACSC/APF) in Malaysia. He was a speaker in a pre-event panel discussion on “Digital Ultranationalism and Conflict Escalation: Lessons from the Cambodia – Thailand Border Dispute” as part of Convergence Space 6: Peacebuilding, Human Security, and Transitional Justice. ACSC/APF) is an inclusive gathering of civil society organizations (CSOs) in Southeast Asia, aims to foster collaboration among civil society actors across the region to advocate for transformative change, addressing pressing concerns and promoting a just, democratic, and people-centered Southeast Asia.
