Call for Op-Ed Contributions: Share Your Perspective
As part of our 2025–2030 strategic vision, the Cambodian Institute for Democracy (CID) is working to strengthen democratic capacity, support independent knowledge, and protect civic space in Cambodia. We see informed, inclusive, and constructive public dialogue as essential to a strong and resilient society.
Why join the conversation?
Cambodia’s social, political, and digital landscapes are changing quickly. These shifts call for more evidence-based discussion and grounded local analysis. They also call for more voices, especially from youth and emerging leaders.
CID provides a space for policymakers, development partners, and the wider public to share these perspectives.
What we’re looking for

- Youth and leadership. Civic education, ethics, and active citizenship.
- Governance and public policy. Democratic institutions, accountability, and transparency.
- Human rights and social cohesion. Fundamental rights, inclusion, and peacebuilding.
- Digital democracy. Digital literacy, AI ethics, and information integrity.
- Knowledge for policy. Data-driven insights and research-based recommendations.
- Global Cambodia. Foreign policy and Cambodia’s role in ASEAN and beyond.
Submission requirements

- Length: 500–1,000 words
- Tone: Clear, accessible, and non-partisan
- Content: Original work with practical, solution-oriented ideas
