Training: How to Use AI for CSO’s Work
🎯 About the Training
In today’s fast-paced digital environment, the ability to communicate clearly and effectively in both Khmer and English is essential for the success of Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) working across diverse communities, donors, and partners. Yet, many CSOs face challenges in translation accuracy, content generation, and time constraints when producing bilingual materials.
This practical workshop introduces the power of AI tools such as ChatGPT, DeepL, Google Translate, and Canva AI to assist CSOs in creating, translating, and refining communication materials across Khmer and English. Participants will gain hands-on experience using these tools to enhance their advocacy, reporting, and outreach—without needing a technical background.
🎯 Learning Outcomes
By the end of this workshop, participants will be able to:
- Understand the role of AI in language translation and content generation, especially for Khmer ↔ English use cases.
- Use AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, DeepL, Google Translate) to translate documents and messages between Khmer and English with greater fluency and efficiency.
- Create bilingual communication materials such as social media posts, advocacy messages, and project summaries using generative AI.
- Identify common challenges and ethical considerations when using AI for language and communication tasks.
- Develop a simple, personalized action plan to apply one or more AI tools in their CSO’s daily communication work.
